Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harro Bode

• Born 1951, married, two children
• After completing the university career in construction engineering at the University of Hanover, research period in Berkeley, California, followed by a doctorate degree in Hanover
• 1976 Olympic sailing champion in Canada
• 1985 Joins the Ruhrverband
• 1997 Technical Director and Deputy Chairman of the Ruhrverband’s Executive Board 
• 1999 Honorary professor at the University of Hanover
• 2004 Chairman of the Ruhrverband
